Vail Ski Resort
Vail Mountain has three sections: The Front-Side, Blue Sky Basin, and the Back Bowls. It also has the fourth-largest skiable terrain in North America. Most of the resort is wide open terrain with a variety of trails to accommodate all levels. Enjoy groomed runs on the front side or step into the Back Bowls for wide-open glades. Skiers and snowboarders are welcome on all areas of the mountain. Non-skiers can take the Eagle Bahn Gondola or Gondola One to meet friends and family for a mountaintop lunch.
Seasonal Ice Rink
Solaris Ice Rink is an ice-skating venue in the heart of Vail Village open only in the winter months for afternoon and evening skating. Ice-skate rentals are available onsite. If you’d rather sit back and watch family and friends skate, take a seat at Yeti’s Grind coffee shop nearby and keep warm on the heated patio while enjoying a hot beverage.
Open daily 1: 00 – 9: 30 pm. For more information, call (970) 479-7132.
Located at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, Adventure Ridge is a mountaintop activity center for all ages. Offering zip line, tubing, mountain coaster, kids snowmobile track, ski biking, and family-friendly dining option at Bistro 14, this is a must-do activity while vacationing in Vail whether you are on a family or adult vacation – fun will be had by all!
